Bedrock map viewers

Different map viewers with information about Sweden's bedrock, the presence of ores, minerals et cetera. For a complete collection please visit the Swedish map viewer.

    Ballast

    The map viewer "Ballast" contains information that is important for the planning of society's ballast supply. The information can be used as a basis for authorities in their work with planning of material supply and licensing of quarries or for the planning of new quarries by the ballast industry.

    Bedrock 1:1 million

    The map viewer "Bedrock 1:1 million" gives an overview of Sweden's bedrock. The information can be used as a basis for very general planning, analysis, research and education. The map image is adapted for presentation at a scale of 1:1 million, which means that the information is generalized and not intended for more detailed use.

    Drill cores

    The map viewer "Drill cores" displays coordinated information about boreholes and cores, cocks, and more, which SGU manages.

    The Ores and minerals map viewer shows information from SGU's databases on Sweden's assets of metals, industrial minerals and rocks.
