INTERACTIVE ROLEPLAY EXERCISE: SOCIAL IMPACTS IN MINING
The aim of this exercise is to expose the participant to a variety of situations that may bear social impacts associated to mining. The main target group of the exercise is mine inspectors, and it is from this perspective that you will conduct the exercise.
The course is general in its nature, and the outcomes of your choices here may not necessarily correspond to outcomes of similar situations in real life. However, the scenarios and their outcomes here are based on various best practices and meant to be seen as tools for general guidance in mine inspections.
The scenarios are generalised and not all aspects that are connected to a certain topic will be part of the scenario. All situations are simplified and should not be considered to reflect the complexity of the real world.
