Starting on August 1st, 2018, in accordance to a change in the Minerals Act (1991: 45), uranium will be removed from the list of concession minerals in Chapter 1. 1 § 1 Minerals Act.
9 August 2018On 11 June 2014 the Swedish Parliament enacted a government bill amending the provisions of the Minerals Act (1991:45) governing exploration works, thereby widening the obligations of exploration permit holders to provide information about their exploration works. The amendment enters into force on 1 August 2014.
