Rocks in BetterGeo
Sedimentary rocks are a rock type that are formed in low-temperature and low-pressure environments through the compaction and solidification or precipitation (cementation) of sediments, rock fragments and minerals that have been transported and deposited on the surface of the Earth. In BetterGeo, sedimentary rocks can be found on many places. They are especially abundant in the added biome Extreme sedimentary hills.
Igneous rocks are rocks formed when magma or lava from different levels of the Earth’s crust cool and crystallize.
Rock types that have undergone changes in mineralogy, texture, and/or chemical composition in a substantially solid state as a result of heat and/or pressure.
