One of SGU’s most important tasks is to provide society with the geological information it requires, in the form of maps and databases. In addition, we produce reports, information booklets and a range of other publications. To the left you can find details of the different products we can offer.
Databases
All the information which SGU collects through its mapping, survey and other work is documented in digital databases. Here you will find detailed descriptions of the contents of each of the different databases.
Maps and publications
SGU’s maps present information on the bedrock, Quaternary deposits, groundwater, geophysics, geochemistry and mineral deposits of Sweden’s land areas and continental shelf. In addition to maps and the descriptions that accompany them, SGU produces scientific papers in its area of responsibility, reports presenting the results of different projects, official studies and commissioned research, booklets and other information material.
