GeoTreat

GeoTreat is a joint project between four Nordic countries - Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The purpose is to bring geology to the pocket of visitors - to make information on interesting sites easily available to tourists. Australia has joined GeoTreat, and there is work in progress to add interesting sites. More places and more countries will be added in the future.

Geomap

The Geomap is an application for Android, based on our digital map viewers. By navigating on a map of Sweden or through a search tool you can locate your area of interest. Thereafter you can learn more about the geology by selecting different geological layers and click on the map.

The available layers are

• Bedrock
• Soil
• Ground water
• Wells and springs
