Do you need information to assist you in addressing specific environmental geoscience issues?

Do you need information to assist you with problems that may be solved/addressed by environmental geoscience?

Whether you are a geoscience professional or a non-scientist COGEOENVIRONMENT's extensive network worldwide may be able to place you in contact with someone who can assist.

Your requests will be placed on the website. Requests will normally be removed after 6 months.

Queries can address any issue in which Members of COGEOENVIRONMENT, or readers of the Newsletter are likely to have expertise or are likely to be able to assist.

For example:

  • do you need current references on a specific topic or methodology?;
  • are you seeking institutional contact addresses to allow personal contact and further discussion on specific topics;
  • do you need to know about the availability of existing environmental legislation which could provide formats or ideas to those currently writing legislation for your country?
  • do you need to know details about existing best practice? etc.
The only requirement is that requests are specific. Any request which is too broad (for example a request for "information on groundwater") is unlikely to attract the required response.

In seeking assistance or advice contact either the regional representative for your country (see officers) or the COGEOENVIRONMENT CORRESPONDING MEMBER in your country - contact details are shown at this web site.

If there is no appropriate contact point shown for your country then send your query either to the Newsletter Editor who will place your query in the next Newsletter, or contact the Secretary General who will try and advise of a point of contact.
